Good evening. How are you ladies on this fine winter night?

We've been up about six times because Howell had his four month shots today. He spends the last hour and a half of his Tylenol cycle miserable so it must wear off then. Poor guy!

On the plus side I found a use for all those fast Medela nipples from the hospital. I put a dose of Tylenol into it and let him suck it down. He used to choke on any medicine but it is totally better this way. I guess it wouldn't work if the meds tasted bad.

Who do you want taking care of you when you're sick and why? What do they do that helps you feel better?

Who will be better at this with LO? You or the daddy?

Hey BB, do you have any liquid ibuprofen? You can alternate that with the tylenol and it has better staying power. It's 10mg/kg. Basically half of the mg you give in tylenol form. If he takes 160mg tylenol, he can have 80mg ibuprofen. You can dose the ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours. Just a thought. Poor guy. I hate shots!

My two have been tag teaming me for almost a week now. Up all hours of the night fussing. Taking crap for naps. Just cleaned up baby boy puke off the couch and comforter. We both needed new pajamas. Baby girl had a leaking poop explosion before bed in her RnP. Awesome. Flu sucks.

When I'm sick, I like to be left the eff alone! Just how I am.

I want my dad. My mom always sucked at caring for the sick. She hates germs and probably has a bonafide phobia of them and vomit. And she was always saying, "You're fine," when we were sick.

My dad spoiled us. He would get me Dairy Queen and set up Sleeping Beauty or The Secret of Nymh [sp?] for me. If I asked for a blanket, he knew which one. He made strep throat almost fun.

H sucks at me being sick so I know I'll be better than he is. He tries but it's not perfect. I'm a perfectionist with my care so I think I'll just be the better one at those times.

I like to be left alone, depending on the sickness. Maybe DH to bring me things like soup or soda but I like to fend for myself.

Mina has had a cold this past week and we've both been taking care of her. DH makes sure the humidifier has enough water. And he holds LO while I man the NoseFrida. He hates causing her discomfort, it's pretty cute even if it makes me feel like the bad guy.

I'm up and I have no clue why... Rhett has been sleeping for hours now.

 When I'm sick I like to be left alone as well. 

 I do most of the taking care of sick kiddos because my DF is OOT a lot. When he is home he does a pretty good job of helping with meds, special foods/drinks, snuggles ect.

we had shots today too, but it is having the opposite effect on c. he just got up for the first time!
I would rather have my Nanny aka my grandma take care of me when I am sick, she was amazing and when she was alive there was not a single person who I would go to before her. I am better with taking care of sick kids at our house, but dh does his part and deals with any puke messes as I am dealing with the child usually..

We are up for a feeding at 3:30am. DD has not requested being fed MOTN for a few weeks. I had kind of hoped she had dropped it. She is wide awake right now.

I like my mom to take care if me when I am sick. She would always make me jello and set up the humidifier when I had a cold or strep throat.
