Hi ladies,
Going to Disneyland this weekend with my 11 week old (and the rest of my family). Anyone know if there are rides I can go on while wearing my son? Thinking that maybe they will let me walk onto things like the carousel, Small World or the railroad without taking him out. He will be in a Babyhawk, most likely. He sleeps so well in the carrier, would like to know what I can do without disturbing his sleep.
Also- related question- for things that infants can go on, will they want him to have shoes on? Found something online that sounded like someone had to do this.
Thanks!
Re: Babywearing at Disneyland?
I haven't been to Disneyland, but we've been visiting Disney World since DS was a couple months old, so I'll try to answer your questions.
Some rides (and probably all shows) you can wear him, but some they may make you take him out and hold him while you ride. (You should be able to wear him in all the queues, though). The cast members will let you know if you need to take him out. I think it depends on how the ride is structured. (It seems like the ones we couldn't wear him on usually had lap restraints or something like that.)
I have never heard anything about the shoe issue. (And DS never wore shoes out until he was learning to walk). Unless that's unique to Disneyland, I don't think that will be an issue.
Have fun! The parks are very friendly to kids of all ages, so you should be able to have a great time with your little guy.
