LO's shoe size

What size shoe does your LO wear? My DD seems to have small feet for her height and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with her being a late walker. This is not a post about her late walking, because I know she'll get there in her own time. She is pretty tall for her age (in the 78th percentile) and wears a size 4. I thought maybe shoe sizing was just off, but then yesterday we were with a friend and her 6 months old and we noticed his feet are bigger than her's! This got me curious as to how her feet compare to others her age.

We're still in 3s! Her UGGs are size 4, but they're big to get her through the whole season. My DD has teensy feet IMO, and started walking at 12.5 mos. I have teeny feet, too (5'-6" and a shoe size 5.5/6), and started walking at 13 mos. from what I gather from my mom.

I am pretty sure that B's feet are huge for his size! He is in a size 6, he never even wore a 5 just jumped straight to 6. He is on the small size though, he weighs 20 lbs, but his feet keep growing!

DS wears a 5 wide. FWIW, he started walking at 10 months.

Nora wears a size 3. She's been in the 75th to 80th range for height most of her life. I'm 5 ft 8 in with a size 8 shoe. I have friends who are 6 inches shorter than me with bigger shoe sizes.

I'm guessing it's genetic. I'm 5 ft 7 in and wear a 6.5 or 7. My mom is 5 feet tall on a good day and wears the same size as me.

ETA: DS started walking at 10.5 months.

5. She's tall but skinny. 5s are still roomy. eta: started walking right around 12 mo

DD wears a 5W. She started walking at 11.5 months. She is in the 95+% for height, but only 50ish% for weight.

N is in size 2 and sometimes 3. It is almost impossible to find shoes that are made for walkers in such small sizes. I'm not sure her height percentile but she's tall and thin with tiny feet.

Layla wears 3/4 depending on the shoesmostly 3's though.

5.5W's here, and she started walking at 11 months. She's short and skinny so I guess she just has big feet like her mom.

He's a 5 extra wide.  He literally has two pair of shoes that fit. 

At a year he was in the 75% for height and 25-50% for weight.

ETA: He could probably fit in a 6 easily and I'm sure when we buy spring/summer clothes that is the size we will go with.

DD was sized at 4.5 last week and seems to be walking well in her size 5 Stride Rites.  She still fits in 6-12 month robeez slippers.  I am sure that depending on the shoe manufacturer, the actual number can vary.

Foot size does not relate to ability to walk.

Size 2 shoes here and about 5th to 10th percentile for height. She started really walking at about 13 months.

5.5 wide. He walked at 11 months and is the 98 percentile for weight and weight. I think genetics have something to do with it. Dh and I both have small feet proportional to our height. I wear a 7.5 or 8 and I am a little over 5'8" and dh is 6'7" and wears a 13 or 14.

She is just now getting into a 4, although they are a tad too big. She has a pair of New Balance sneakers that are 3.5 that fit perfect.

DD started walking the day before her birthday.  She is in a 4 or a 5, but it depends on the brand.  She has outgrown some 4's but then others are too big!

When we had her measured at the shoe store, she was a 4.5.  At her 1 year appt, she was 90% for height but her feet are pretty small.  I'm only a size 5.5 though, so she probably gets it from me.

DD wears a 4. I just bought her some boots in size 5 that are a bit big, but I wanted them to last through the season.

B is JUST a 5... Some of her 5s are too big. Strange because they are all the same brand.
