I've posted on here before about how much i hate living in our tiny apartment, and how the chick who lives above us stomps around all night long, waking LO up constantly. Last night i awoke at 2:00 am to the sound of a vaccuum above my hand. she was vaccuuming! ARGH!!!! it woke up DH and LO too. I wanted to run up there and rip her head off. I wrote a note to put on her door when i get home tonight but not sure how to handle this. any suggestions?

the apartment we were in before where we live currently, had things in their lease, like keeping it down after 10pm and before 8 am, we were in a larger complex, tho, and i am unsure if other apartments adapt this type of policy. we had to sign like 10 pages in our agreement. when ever we had a problem with noise, which we did, we called the management, or the security that they employed. we had neighbors below us that would get drunk and fight at 3am. after about 5 complaints they were kicked out.

not sure if this has helped, but i hope you can get some peace and quiet soon! baby needs their rest!

I haven't read your other posts, but can you just talk to her and explain the situation?  I would feel terrible if I knew that I was keeping my neighbors awake!

Do you have a property manager?  Most apartments have rules as to when you can make noise.  Usually it's not until 9 am, and not after 10 or so.  Find out what your situation is.  2 am is not usually an allowable time!  The property manager can talk to her, if you have one.

I'm in the same boat as you except I live in a sfh. Our neighbor has 4 kids, their two boys run wild, using our property as their personal play area... their friends stop by late, blaring car horns at 10, 11pm...woke dd up last night in doing so. Mow their lawn, in effort of cranking their stereo to hear over lawn mower! They are f'ing idiot hill billies... and pretty sure I saw the dad, who works at mccy d's make drug deal in their front yard. What's sad is we have a nice home, in an alright neighborhood...just these ppl are the biggest, inconsiderate dumb arses...

Oh the boys let their dog out, which came charging at dd I while I was trying to walk in a stroller. A friend of mine suggested bear mase...another who is in the military suggested a crows kidding of course, lol!... truth is bad neighbors are everywhere... but these ppl have been harrassing us, because they use to own the property we live on, couldn't afford and had to sell...so idk what to do. Very close to filing a police report at some point.

I'm guessing though, because you live in an apartment, you all, as tenants, rent?

That said, if you're non confrontational and don't want to make waves can report her to the building manager. With a list of dates, problems she consistently causes and have them take care of the matter. As I'm pretty sure she is breaking a lease agreement by causing commotion. If she is bothering you I'm sure she is bothering others.
