Formula feeders

What formula are you using and does your baby like it? And are you using the powder or nursers? TIA.

    We use Similac Advance.  We use powder at home and the 2 oz ready to eat bottles when out and about.  LO has had no issues.  He's not picky though.  He doesn't care what temperature it is or what kind of bottle it is in as long as he gets to eat it.  LOL.

    Thanks. Do you use the disposable nipples with the similac or do you pour it into a regular bottle?

    We're using Similac Advance also.  We use all powder because it's considerably less expensive.  I carry bottles prepared with 3 oz. of water with me, and we have a formula dispenser in which I can pre-measure 3 feedings of formula before going out.  If we're out for a long day, I just take a can of formula with me.  I found the dispenser at Walmart for $5.00.  We use all regular bottles--more eco-friendly and cheaper.  We weren't planning on being FFers, and the expense of FFing is still mind-boggling to me!

    We use similac sensitive and the target brand equivalent.  I use similac checks to buy the premixed bottles so they end up being less than $2.  Target brand is powder.

    we were using the target brand of similac advance, but our boy is quite gassy so we switched to the sensitive. one.  he had an upset tummy at first from the switch but has been fince since.  he doesn't like the premade ones, so we stick with the powder.<a href="https://www.thebump.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Parenting Advice"><img src="https://global.thebump.com/tickers/tt163cc0.aspx" alt=" Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker" border="0"  /></a>

    This is us exactly! Great minds think alike! The target brand powder seems to have less bubbles after being mixed up verses similac. We love the target brand stuff, even the diapers and wipes!

    We use Similac advanced too. We started with the ready-to-feed bottles b/c the hospital gave us several to take home. Now that those are gone, we're using the prepared formula that came in the take-home diaper bag (it's the same as the ready-to-feed, but in a bigger bottle) and when that's gone, we'll use the powder (Similac sent us an entire container for free in the mail)..after that, I guess we'll use whatever we decide is most cost efficient and convenient.

    We switched from Enfamil Newborn powder at home, nursers on the go to Gentlease, to Gerber Soothe per pedi recc Gerber Soothe has been a life changer for us.nbsp;

    Why did your pedi recommend soothe? I've been wanting to try it and was curious how it was helping others

    We are using similac sensitive/lactose and we love it!
    DS was EBF until 2 weeks ago and we made the switch.
    He seems to digest it pretty well now and isn't too gassy from it. When we first made the switch he had a rough few days learning to digest it but once his tummy adjusted he was fine with it.

    We are using the pre-mixed that you just add water to. DS has digestive issues and our pedi recommended this over the powder saying the powder can clog up more, but after talking to people who have used both power and mixed they haven't noticed to much of a difference other than the cost.
