Not completely awful, but not great. With Christmas and DS1 being sick we've been busy and haven't really had down time so we haven't really fought.

DS2 hates to be swaddled and DS1 I used the Swaddle Me blankets. He never got out of those. Have you tried those? Sometimes I felt like it might be too tight, but DS1 had to be swaddled tight.

Yes! We used her song The Best Day at our wedding reception for the Mother's dance. DH danced with his mom and I danced with mine.

Had sex the night I went into labor, 10 weeks ago.

I SAH for the most part. I work 12 hours a week in the evenings and on weekends when DH can be home with the boys. I will be looking for a teaching job for next school year.

I hope things get better for you soon. Babies are such a cluster for even the strongest marriage. Yesterday for the first time in my entire marriage the thought of divorce entered my head for a fleeting second and we have a really strong foundation. It is just so, so hard and I imagine things are so much harder with 2 U 2. Hang in there!

DS2 is Miles Joseph

We have a dog. He is a rat terrier named Max.

I love to watch football and basketball. KU basketball, Chiefs and Falcons for football. The Falcons because I went to HS with one of the players. I also love to watch my little brother in all sports, he's a freshman in HS this year, wish I could make it to all his games.

My favorite adult beverage when I use to drink was a fuzzy navel or strawberry daquari, or back in HS it was Lemon Bacardi and Sprite.

If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Scotland and Germany and research where my family is from.

Funny story about DS2's name... I said a long time ago that if we had another boy, his mn would be Joseph after my grandpa. So then we tried to find a first name. We went through tons of names but ended up going back to Miles each time. I worked with a guy named Miles, but hadn't told DH because I figured he wouldn't want to use it if I knew someone with that name. Anyway, I went to work and asked Miles what his mn was...it's Joseph. So everyone at work joked that I was naming my baby after Miles. He thought it was hilarious and would tell me that baby Miles told him things, like that mommy loves to cut blinds...something we both hate to do. Unfortunately Miles got another job while I was on maternity leave and I never got to take baby Miles in to meet him. I'm kind of sad about that.
