NTR: Keurig or Tassimo?

Anyone have a preference in these two brands for a single serve coffee maker?  Thanks!

We have a Keurig and love it.  They have everything imaginable from Tea, Hot Chocolate and Coffee and they even have a Kcup that you can put your own ground coffee into.  I don't have any experience with a Tassimo.

I have a Keurig. I mainly use the refillable cup in mine, so I guess it depends on how much you like fancy coffee? The tassimo seems a bit fancier than the Keurig, but I've never seen the tassimo cups sold in any stores here- you can get k-cups pretty much anywhere, not sure if those tassimo cups are readily available where you live, but that would affect which machine I bought. 

Anyway, the Keurig I have (elite) is very basic, and easy to use. I don't think I would ever use all the features on the Tassimo.

I've have my keurig for over 5 years and still love it. I've been thinking about buying a newer one that has a hot water dispense button. Currently if you take out the k-cup holder and click 'brew' the hot water doesn't come out perfectly clean to use for tea/coco/oatmeal etc. I used to by the k-cups then my fav brand got discontinued so now i've been using the refillable one for about 2 years and filling it with ground starbucks.

I have a keurig at work and love it. I have yet to have a bad cup of coffee and I love the idea of the refillable kcup. Plus there are tons of kcups available. I have a Tassimo at home and have yet to have a good cup of coffee. I have tried every brand of coffee out there (there aren't many choices) and nothing so far has been all that great. The tassimo does cappucinos/lattes which is nice, but I definitely regret not having a keurig at home.

I just purchased a keurig today as they have more brand options when it comes to the cups plus I like the reusable cup for your own coffees etc. Plus it came with a box of coffee and the tassimo didn't lol

I own both coffee makers. I first brought Tassimo because I like the Carmel coffee. After owning it a year. It was too pricey and I could not find the correct coffee I liked. We had order the coffee online last Christmas and its still on back order. I'm really disappointed in the company and how they treat their customers. For my birthday October we eventually brought Keurig. I have nothing but raves about this coffee maker and all the favor offers. You can't go wrong with Keurig. I hope this helps.
