Have you noticed a drop on your supply? I've been a bf'ing and pumping fool since MJ was born and I've managed to work up about 250 ozs for my stash when he starts daycare next week. I was pumping about 4 ozs per session 3-4 times a day. Now it's only an ounce or so and my boobs are not filling up as quickly or as painful as before. I'm going back to work next week, so maybe my body is subconsciously prepping? The only thing I've done different this week is start the mini pill.

I might of had a slight drop to start, but I'm back to normal if not more plentiful pumping now (a full pack down).

My supply has actully increased! I've had low supply issues the whole time and suddenly it increased right at the time I started taking it. Weird.

This exact thing happened to me as soon as I started taking it.  I even tried to take domperidone to increase the supply but it didn't work. Had to start FF, and no regrets whatsoever.

I've had no supply issues from the mini pill, or now, Mirena.

I have noticed my supply has regulated though. It isn't so crazy high. Just enough for him and a pumping session.

I have read supply regulates around this time.

Does the mini pill give you a period like the regular pill does, even if you're EBF? If there's no estrogen, would the placebo pills cause a period? I've heard that many women get a drop in supply right before their period.

No placebos with the mini pill. I haven't had a period yet and am ebf.

Nope... I've been on it for six weeks, work out, count calories and exclusively pump... no decrease here! And I'm back at work...
