25 weeks and bedrest

My blood pressure went up and now I'm on bedrest since Christmas. It went down significantly and hoping that my Dr. release me on tomorrow.  But the other thing is that my DS wasn't getting enough blood flow and nutrients. Has this happen to anyone? I'm drinking Ensure, more veggies and fruits to add nutrients.  Is there anything that you've done if this has happened to you? How much does your baby weigh at 25 weeks?

Hi there, sorry to hear this! My baby measured 1lb 7 oz by ultrasound at 24.3weeks. I too was put on bedrest for contractons and a bleed, and was also found to have low fluid. After my checkup today, no cervical change or bleeding and fluid is back up to a good level. Bed rest for two weeks helped. You may be able to come back off bed rest if placenta and baby's condition improves. I think you are doing what you can, drink at least 100oz of water a day and hopefully the bedrest will allow your body to focus on the baby.
