NBSR: Need some etiquette advice

Hi all,

DH and I are going to a friend's violin recital at her home tomorrow evening.  Should we bring something with us?  If so, any ideas on what to bring?

    If anything I would bring flowers to giver her afterward. Other than that I've got nothing. Lol

    i think flowers would be a sweet gift to give her afterwards. other than that i wouldnt worry too much with it. 
    trying for #1 since May 2012... we're adopting! bringing home baby boy in january 2015!

    Ditto flowers.  You could also bring a bottle of wine or box of nice candy.
