Back to work next week

After 5 wonderful months i have to return to work next week. I am back to crying every time i think about it. I feel like im giving my baby away.

Anyone else returning after the new year?
This sucks more than anything ive ever experienced. I just want her to be home with her mommy. We have a little routine down and now im gonna have to pack her up bright and early and hand her off to someone else. Why does the cost of living have to be so datn expensive. I wish i lived in a simpler time.

I am returning to work on January 7 after being off since Memorial Day. I am fortunate to be able to work PT. I am actually looking forward to being in the adult world for 24 hours, having conversations with people other than the mailman and putting my degree to use.
We could live on my husband's income but my job has far better health insurance and will cover 80 pct of IVF costs, so that is reason enough to work.
As much as I am eager to be working again and as comfortable as I am with the sitter we hired, I am sure I will be an anxious wreck when I actually have to leave the house and have someone else care for my baby on the first day back.
