here is DD trying out avocado (and solids, in general) for the first time! haha...her faces crack me up. i also really like the whole BLW thing so far. she also had banana and sweet potato which she liked much more (obviously sweeter). will try avocado again tomorrow!

I am so impressed at how well she ate! We tried avocado with little man for the first time the other day - I think it wasn't ripe/mushy enough because he about choked on the piece he bit off. ;o)

PS: I love your kitty's perch at the bottom of the stairs in the background ;o)

yeah, she gagged a bit on a big chunk of banana that she bit off, and of course my heart practically stopped even though i read so many times that it's normal lol...but she never looked scared or anything. i'm hoping she learns fast to take smaller bites so i feel better haha...and thanks about the cat perch! she always jumps onto that banister
