Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Weight Watchers- Any moms out there that have done it or are going for it in 2013?

I'm doing it. That's it!

When I went to the spa before Christmas, my fabulous stylist of 7 yrs (whom I haven't seen since DS was born) was 75lbs lighter! I couldn't believe how fabulous she looked...and it was weight watchers for 10months she told me. I've been trying to lose the weight, but always fall off the wagon and need some serious support. I had GD and Pre-E while pregnant and at my endocrinologist check up , I am not currently diabetic, but I'm knocking on the door to a lifelong battle...ugh! Blood pressure isn't bad...but not great either. I have ignored my own health while focusing on DS and his tort/plagio issues and just being a nervous Nelly FTM, I have ignored my issues and weight loss will solve both!

I have never been a skinny minnie, but have been in much better shape than I am now. I need to lose 15 more lbs from pregnancy and another 50 to be at my ideal medical weight. I'm not gonna lie, since DS birth, I have been feeling out of sorts with my body and appearance, sex drive is MIA and it's due to my own self opinion. I am confessing a lot here, but I need to clear the air and stop lying to myself in order to make the change.

Any of you out there in the same boat? Success stories? Advice?

TIA

  • Good Luck with it. I have it done it before and it does wonders.

  • I never gained the freshmen 15, but when I started working I gained 15 pounds with all the happy hours, etc so I did it and it was amazing. I also did it starting at 3 weeks pp til 5 months when I went back to work. I NEED to be accountable and have the weigh- in.  I have gained back 7 pounds since going back to work so I started back again today.

It works! (I just need to keep it up)

  • I lost 30lbs on WW right before I got pregnant.  I love the plan!  Since DD's birth I have done nothing but am joining WW in january with my hubby and a few friends.

    Good Luck to you!!

  • I'm also following the weight watcher plan online.  I have to admit I haven't been the best at it but have still been loosing (about a pound a week).  I'm determined to follow it 100% come the new year.

I gained 55 lbs during pregnancy and have 8 lbs left to loose.   I would still like to loose another 10 lbs on top of it.

After 15 cycles and 3 rounds of clomid (50mg) we got our BFP.
