LO suddenly startling very easily

My LO has lost his darn mind today....any noises he starts screaming and is REALLY jumpy. Is this a normal thing when they are learning/seeing/hearing more or should we be concerned? Usually he is a very low-key baby.

My dogs barking like crazy would barely make him flinch. Today, DS woke up from a nap when I put my glass down on a glass table.
