    This may not be helpful because our kindlefire is not HD and I'm not sure if they make what we have in HD version. We have the gum drop drop tech case and it's awesome. It has a screen protector and a soft, rubbery like thing surrounding it. DD can hold it well and it's safe if she (or me) happen to drop it.
