Baby innotab2 vs. LeapPad2?

I'd love to hear experiences with either of these. Does your LO play with them regularly? The prices are pretty comparable, I'm trying to figure out which one of these (if any) I should I go for, they both seem similar and she has leapfrog and vtech products so I'm not sure if there's anything especially amazing about either one.

Thanks

  • I considered these (and maybe another) and after giving it serious thought, I realized that this was something that my 18 month old really did not need and will revisit this a year from now and in the meantime went for more age-appropriate toys..

  • We have the Innotab 2 for Tim, he's still figuring it out. Like most 3 year olds I know he can navigate my iphone better than me and word the DVD player better than me. So there's no doubt he'll pick it up in no time.  Nick just likes to his the buttons and bang on the screen. I would hold off until at 3.

Tim got the Mobigo at 2 and that was a little better for him, but I don't think he started really getting what to do until almost 2.5

We chose the leapad 2 and so far our three year old is somewhat understanding what and how to do things on it...
