Depressed over weather

Keeping us from introducing the baby to our extended family (3 hours away and 5 hours away). I think I am more annoyed that my husband is so gleeful that the snow gave us an excuse to stay home. I know it is easiest but it makes me sad that they will never get to see her so tiny and cute... tear...

    I hate that too. Most of our immediate families have traveled to meet the babies. Everyone else is missing out. They've already changed so much.

     not really. Two things:

    1. I am starting a new job Monday and don't want to burn my PTO too early

    2. The relatives are all gathered from their homes to one location about 5 hours from here. So while I could drive 5 hours away some other weekend, only one or two sets of people would be there vs the 10 or so there now.
