BFThis baby could eat forever!!

Breastfeeding momsHow do you know when baby is done eating? If DS is tired he will some times just let his head fall back but every other time he will just eat and eat. I will usually just stop him after about 30 minutes and he seems fine and satisfied, is that typical or do your babies let you know they are done?

If you hear or see him swallowing, he's still eating.  If not, he's just comfort sucking or sleep sucking.  My LO usually pops off when he's done or if I see he's just sucking but not swallowing, I'll take him off.  If he tries to get back on, I'll re-adjust him so he'll just fall asleep.

My pediatrician says babies should nurse no more than 10 minutes each side. I just feel his throat to make sure he is still swallowing. Recently though he unlatches a lot, done or not. Not sure why though...
