A few weeks ago someone here posted a link for "A Letter to my Pregnant, Childless Self" and I thought it was hilarious. So when a friend's wife was approaching her due date I sent her the link thinking she'd have a good laugh. Instead she said "Wow, what a bitter Mom that letter to my pregnant self woman must be. That was filled with so much negativity and venom. She must have had an easy pregnancy, a horrific birth experience with no support from her husband and a difficult child. I am glad I did not read that before Catherine arrived! Just to let you know, I would TOTALLY do natural child birth again. It was amazing, and DH and I are sleeping so much better now she is with us. DH is a pro at being a Dad!"
Maybe I'm just overly sensitive since I'm still hormonal, but OMG it was all in good fun. I guess for her motherhood is nothing but sunshine and rainbows.

Re: no sense of humor
I made rachelmichelle1 my bitch.
I was just reading it and I almost spit out my drink at the part about using the breathing techniques for the first bowl movement. Funny.
I made it all the way to 4 cm without the epidural... only because they took so damn long. lol
I also think that some women feel the need to pretend that motherhood is all sunshine and unicorn farts to make themselves feel better. They are delusional. This shiit is hard and that's normal.
Adding 'chillaxitive' to my repertoire LOL. Love it!
