Naps

I usually don't pay attention to the naps posts because, until last week, DS only napped twice a day for anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.

Since I have been at my parents he seems to eat, play or be alert for about an hour then get cranky and nap for 20 to 45 minutes then eat again etc. From 830am until bedtime at 9ish, he probably naps 4 to 6 times.

How often are your LO's napping and for how long?

Depends on the day... He napped for 40 mins this morning, 15 at lunch, and 3.5 hrs in te afternoon... Yesterday he didn't nap at all, and the day before he napped three times an hour each!

I try to do eat, awake, sleep... It doesn't always work out though. She'll nap anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours. Usually 3 to 4 a day. It's really inconsistent... I just try to look for queues that she is tired... Glazed eyes... Looking away from things, she has even started to rub her eyes... And yawning.

Cooper does diaper, eat, play then back to sleep throughout the day, which being up maybe an hour at a time. He's was taking like 2 hour naps, but this week has been sleeping a lot less at a time. Not sure if it's because of all the commotion going on, or because he wants to be awake more.

Anyways, he usually takes about four hourish naps a day now. Bed at 8ish, waking 1-2 times and then up for the day around 8.

She consistently takes a 2 hour-ish nap somewhere between 11-2. 

She normally naps for an hour about 1.5 hours after she gets up between 6:30 - 8.

Other than that it just depends. She does a lot of 15-30 minute cat naps still.
