boots without socks

My DS has a pair of stride rite boots. They were difficult to get on with socks. I tried them today without since they are lined and they were much easier to put on. Do you always put socks on your LO when wearing boots?

Re: boots without socks

  • Usually but if they're hard to get on with boots I wouldn't put them on.

  • I do, but we bought her boots slightly big to allow for socks.

ETA if the boots are plush and lined, I wouldn't think it's a big deal to skip the socks.  I occasionally skip socks with my Uggs, and it doesn't bother me...so I figure it doesn't bother LO.

  • Are you trying with the socks with grppies on the bottom? I find those hard to get into some of DD's shoes. Her actual boots are rubber boots so they are easyish to get on with any socks.
