If you celebrate x-mas, will you be hosting or attending a get together? Just curious...
x-mas eve, we will be hosting my family and x-mas day, we were supposed to go to DH's sis's house, but her DD is sick, so we are either staying home or going to my 'rents house.
Merry Christmas!!
Re: What are your plans for the Holidays?
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and DH and DS1's birthday which is the day after Christmas, DH has to work night shifts and will be sleeping most of the days. So the boys and I are pretty much on our own with small appearances by DH this holiday season.
We'll celebrate with the IL's when they visit during the second week of January.

We aren't hosting or going anywhere this year. We usually fly to Chicago and spend Christmas with my family, but I'm too pregnant. Since we don't have family in the Bay area we will be doing our own little family celebration & dinner. I'm looking forward to a relaxing, stress free holiday.
Christmas day at my parents' house and this coming Friday at the inlaws' house. We usually go to my husband's grandmother's house too, but we opted out this year.
I love Christmas, but the stress of running all over makes it stressful.
DH and I stopped by a Holiday Party Friday afternoon, last night we all went to a party hosted by DH's 2nd Cousins. Tonight we celebrated with DH's dad's side.
Tomorrow we stop by DH's Aunt's and then head to my Dad's side. Christmas Morning we will go to my sisters for brunch, then I am hosting for DH's mom's side.
Then... Friday we have to go to DH's mom's since she won't exchange unless both of her kids are there, and it HAS to be at her house.
New Year's eve no clue. DH is a police officer and will be working and I am not one for partying out late, so we may just hang low. New Year's Day we go to DH's grandma's.
Thank god I am off work till January 2nd!
I did score free tickets to Disney on Ice so DD, a friend of mine and I are going there Friday morning.
Tomorrow, we're going to my SIL's house to have dinner & open gifts with MH's family.
Christmas Day, we'll open gifts at home in the morning & then head to my mom's to open gifts (which is really an all-day event!) & have dinner with my family. There is nothing like Christmas at home with my sisters!
Well, I was supposed to go to my brother's tomorrow to spend Christmas Eve with my dad, but now that A is sick, we will probably stay home. We were also going to go around giving everyone their gifts (kinda playing Santa) but I guess that's off too.
Christmas we are hosting both my parents and In Laws, plus my SIL's aunt and dad, 14 in total, including two babies. But my other SIL just said she might not come with her two year old if A is sick. But come on, he's got a cold and it's Christmas and it's two days away. To me it's a whatever, but I guess not for her.
We are going to on of my sister's for Christmas Eve- we have a casual dinner and gifts. Then Christmas we spend as a family at home. I will make a ham and sides. Then Saturday our friends are coming in from AZ so they will come over, I am planning take out for that day-maybe I will bake a cake and make some brownies.
Tomorrow night we celebrate with DHs dads side. Then we do my side on Christmas day.
I may try to host Christmas with my family next year, my sister won't go over to my moms house because of some past drama that she needs to get over. So it may be easier for us to do it.
We decide we are going to see a movie on Christmas Day, just DH, Lily and myself.
It's non-stop.
We did Courtney's bday weekend, which was 3 days of stuff, my side, his side and just us.
This month is forever going to be crazy...to some extent I enjoy seeing family and friends, but DH's mom's side is always trying to pull us in their direction, so much so we didn't get DH's dad's side last Christmas. We re-organized this year.
