This should be a thing?
Let's all brag about something. For example, Ellcore could brag about her baby rolling over already! As for me, I mentioned this already, but I'm back to a size 5! Also, I'm super proud that I escaped without strechmarks, esp since my mom got them with me. Thank you, Mustella.
Re: Braggy Sunday
I survived the snow day Thursday with both boys home with me & still managed to put in 8 hours of mostly productive work by remoting in to my work computer.
My weekend company just went home. The house is clean. The baby is napping in the swing. My older son is happily playing in his room eating a candy cane, and DH is out getting a last minute stocking stuffer for DS1.
I've set the table for tomorrow night already, using the fancy china. I even remembered the chargers which I bought years ago but always forget to use. Now let's just see how far we get into dinner before Charlie starts fussing - Thanksgiving I managed three forkfulls.....
Yay for Kaley!
I've never stopped wearing my jeans because I lost weight my whole pregnancy.
I've lost 30 pounds since the day I checked into the hospital.
Kaley is grabbing at things and tracking our movements already.
She's trying to stand.
DH got his raise and a bonus check (which I really want to go shopping with)
I have three 4 oz freezer bags in the freezer.
I never had stretch marks.
My CS incision was healed in less than a week and I was only sore to walk around and do things for two.
None of my shirts fit, they're all too big.
I look damn good in jeans and my favorite hoodie.
I made rachelmichelle1 my bitch.
man ppl all your loseing wieght brags are awsome. I'll get there, but I know it will take a while.
My brag. I am really good at BF. My kids take to it well. I do it for a long time with little to no issues.
I also have no strech marks after 3 kids
I'm one pound from pp weight, and my thighs are somehow smaller than they started which means I can wear my super skinny size 25 jeans and size 0 pants. My stomach's a different story, so I won't go there.
DS1 is 19 months old and can already read several "sight" words.
I have finally had sex enough times pp that I no longer know how many times we've done it.
My job is over and my base salary at my new job is the same as my husband's base. I feel great about being a good example of a working mom for my baby.
My baby is so freaking adorable I just don't know what else to say about it.
(and I don't care if she never rolls over, lol)
hahah! Yes!! Me too!!
DD rolled from belly to back this week and slept until five this morning without waking to eat!
I'm five pounds below pre pregnancy weight.
i went for a walk by myself and sat and had a cup of coffee without calling to check on B.
baby steps and i'm lame
I'm up to 55 oz in my freezer stash! I had a lot of trouble when I first started back at work so this is huge for me!
Next month, we are paying off our car...in 16 months.
I am an awesome Christmas present wrapper. And I'm proud that my presents to my husband look better than his to me.
JUST a 10k!? That's bragworthy for sure and something I would never be able to do, baby or not.
Mine...
I haven't cried all day about leaving LO and going back to work.
I am posting more on the bump and opening up a bit more.
I kept my mouth shut when MIL made a stupid comment about me to LO today.
DH and I paid off our house last month and we are super happy about it.
Ashley has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 weeks and she is so happy and never cries.
I got a new peacoat and it makes me feel skinny.
L is in bed and we are watching the dark knight rises
In the list of all the things he should be doing at 3 months he was in the advanced category.
he has not rolled over, and hates tummy time so i'm guessing he won't do this for a while tho...
my H is crazy awesome.
I am pregnancy weight minus 10 lbs, and have been since 2 weeks PP.
I got 3 stretch marks my whole pregnancy. They're all 1 inch long and on my right hip so nobody can see them.
I have over 300 ounces in the freezer, and haven't even added anything to that stash in probably... 3 or 4 weeks?
And my baby knows how to flip the bird.
LO slept through my hair appt, so that was awesome
I made LO laugh like crazy today my blowing raspberries on her belly, then I cried because It was her first real laugh!
Ha! So does mine, especially when I try to clip his nails.
Ha, this is a good boost.
People tell me I have the prettiest baby and then say no seriously, some babies are just eh... yours is gorgeous.
I lost 25 lbs the first week PP which is 25 lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight and I'm keeping it off. Thank you BFing.
My coworkers have sincerely made me feel missed, not because their work load was heavier, but because our little team doesn't feel complete. That makes it easier to go back Friday.
DH gave me some me time last night and I took a really long bubble bath, with wine, music, and painted my toes and fingernails.
I have the most amazing husband. He's been doing all the house work for a long while now and then takes care of the baby into the wee hours of the night so I can get some more sleep.
I lost about 35 pounds since giving birth. I'm still 25 pounds away from my pp weight but I think 35 lbs in 10 weeks is quite good still.
People do this to me as well. My favorite is when my black friend said "I think all white babies look like aliens, but seriously yours is adorable."
