Ds got his bottom 2 then his next 2 were the top incisors. I had a dentist appt around them and the dentist said they had never heard of that, but every kid is different.
DD hasn't cut any teeth yet but the only bumps she's had are her incisors. DD's dr (who isn't a pedi, she's just a family doc so I'm not sure how accurate this is) said at her 6 month appointment when I pointed that out that it's not common but it does happen and can make them more prone to crooked teeth later in life. I had very crooked teeth as a kid so I figure LO is at risk of it happening anyway.
Typically the first 2 teeth to erupt are the bottom front 2, and then the rest come in at random. It's not common for an incisor to come in before the bottom 2 but I've heard of it happening.
