I'm a semilurker. I've been a knottie /nestie/bumpie since I planned my wedding. DS1 was born 3/10/10 and DS2 10/15/12. DS1 was the world's easiest baby, so I was completely unprepared for a fussy, colicky reflux baby this time. He's gotten better since starting Zantac a week ago, but much of my maternity leave has been pretty difficult dealing with him and his screaming. I go back to work on the 2nd and I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine.
I'm kind of a lurker. I had my little guy on Oct 4th, but was due in Sept and posted over on Sep12 throughout pregnancy. Sometimes I come over here because I'm comforted by the higher number of children not yet sleeping through the night!
I don't think I'm quite a lurker but I was in the beginning. I just have stretches where I post a lot, the disappear for a while.
The undies are off white today, and fresh and clean, my favorite color is pink. I have too many kids for the family sedan now. DH and I have been married 12 years, my 12yr old daughter finally did the math on that not too long ago. We live in Ohio, but from MI, only 18 months and 10 days until we are moving back. I do watch Supernatural with DH, but only during daylight hours because I'm a wussy and get f'ed up dreams.
I also have 3 dogs, one of which just finished chemo for lymphoma and we are praying it stays in remission for a while. And, 2 cats. Pretty much a traveling circus with no tent for containing the chaos.
Hi, I've posted a few times and I introduced myself way back in Feb. when I got my BFP. Can't believe how much things have changed since then! I really love this board. Oh, and I'm basically wearing tighty whiteys...
I'm a total lurker...I joined TB when I got my BFP back in April. I was one of those silly gals who didn't realize I was pregnant until about 3 months in. I'm on the site every day and have learned so much from you all. I initially didn't post because I was always stalking from work and they frown upon that sort of thing. I'm not really sure why I haven't been posting while on maternity leave...I'll try to participate more!
I live in Maine and I'm 29. Funny fact about me, my SO and I met on 11/4/2011, so our little bundle of joy arrived less than a year after our first encounter. For some I'm sure that would be a relationship death sentence but we couldn't be happier. When it's right, it's right, right?
Anywho, my little guy's name is Landon and he was born on 10/25. 5 days late, and 20 long hours of labor later!
Guilty! I used to post a little more than I do now....not sure if anyone remembers me. I still read everyone's threads everyday I just never feel like I have much to contribute. I return to work next week and will have a lot mere time to post again with my boring desk job!
I introduced myself a few weeks ago...I'm trying to post more, but having three kids really cramps my style. I usually can only check the board from my phone while BFing. Anywho, my name is Shannon and I have 3 kiddos. The youngest was born Oct.17. He was almost born on the side of the highway because I was in denial that I was in labor, lol. The entire labor was maybe 2 hours...super fun. My OB has informed my DH that if we go for a fourth he should prepare to deliver it at home, haha! DH was not amused.
Oh, and I think my underwear are pink? I don't remember, and I'm holding a kid right now so I can't check, lol.
Mmmmmmm... Winchester......
I thought you ladies.might enjoy this: I think I might be getting AF, so rather than run the risk of ruining one of the three pairs of underwear that fit, I am in my last pair of new mesh underwear from the hospital. I knew I was hoarding those for a reason.
I am the definition of sexy. :P
WHADDAP LURKERRRS!
Is it bad that I washed them and put them in my underwear drawer like regular undies?
hahah i did this too... i also love how this thread became regular posters answering the Qs for the lurkers.
My computer is running so slow this morning. I've been trying to read and reply to this thread for a while. I love lurker come out threads. I always hope that someone will stick around after inroducing themsleves. I was once a huge lurker, lurked for years then finally decided to join in the convo one day. And here I am. I try to be as active of a poster as one can with three kids who prefer me not to spend the entire day on the computer. I just have it up all day then when I get a free minute I refresh and read, reply if my free minute turns into two. They are never well composed because I never have three free minutes on which to proof read. But no one has chased me off the boards yet. So Hi everyone, come out and play!!! Also kuddos to you who have already "spoken up" in this thread. Nice to meet chya.
Hey I just met you, and you're my baby. This is your family, we're kind of crazy...

First of all, your LO has the cutest cheeks ever!!
But I was the same. My LO was due in September but came 10/10. I usually came over here because it sucked big time to have the last due date in the month, so sometimes I'd come over here to be ahead of everyone lol. I still consider S12 to be my home board, but I enjoy this board as well.
An offering of lolz for allowing me to lurk:

You've inspired me to finally make a screen name and come out of lurking! I've been lurking since my BFP back in February. I had my baby girl on October 25, 5 days over due. I had a fairly easy labor and delivery, 12 hours of labor (should have been much less, but my doctor was busy with another surgery), one hour of pushing, best experience of my life. You ladies have helped out so much over the last year, now maybe I'll have something to contribute.
My husband and I welcomed our son Cameron, on October 16. This board has been such a help to me - I promise I will try to post more. I even learned how to add a pic to my siggy just for your enjoyment!
Alright ladies. I have been lurking since I found out I was pregnant. I am 25 and my son Trevor was born on October 18, 3 days before his due date. We had an awful time at the hospital and are lucky that out little man turned out perfectly! So awful that investigations were done, we aren't paying half our bill and someone's license has been suspended. Thank you for all of your posts!

Hi and welcome!!

OMG, sounds like that was awful. But we are glad to have you aboard.

Whaa?? If you don't mind my asking, what happened? I'm glad your LO came out okay, though!

My name is Amber and I'm a lurker. My son was due November 4th but he came on October 18th. I had an uneventful homebirth. My question is how do I get a pic on my LO in my signature? And I'm not wearing any underwear.
Do you have hairy feet like the rest of the hobbits?
You'll have to use TinyPic to upload the picture. My siggy picture is using the email setting and then copy and paste the HTML codes to your siggy like you did with the ticker.
No hairy feet but I'm barely pushing 5 feet tall.
I heart Dean Winchester.
Ditto, Ditto, DITTO... peacock blue.

I went into the hospital on the 18th to get induced but my water broke naturally at 9 am. At 9 pm I was ready to push. I pushed for 3 hours and a charge nurse delivered my son. The doctor and midwife my doctor's associate was going to deliver me were in a surgery and for some reason the nurse told them I'd need a c section even though that was never discussed with us and that I had stopped pushing. Then when I started crowning the other nurse looked at my husband and said "I've never delivered a baby before!" And ran out of the room. Then the charge nurse came back and brought 2 more nurses and all of their stuff. My son's cord was wrapped around his neck and the charge nurse was shaking so bad she dropped the clamps on the floor and proceeded to pick them up off of the floor and use them even though there was a clean set on the table. Luckily, she got the cord off and he was fine. But then I needed stitches so they called another doctor out of bed to come stitch me up which took a half hour before he got there.
To top it off, the next day my doctor came to see me and was like " oh I heard it was a fast delivery so the nurse delivered but that a doctor was standing by" EXCUSE ME? Um no that's not how it happened. Then my husband and I told her what really happened and she cried her eyes out in our room for 2 hours.. And to top it off had 2 epidurals and they didn't work.
Yup this might be our only child. Lol
I posted early on in pregnancy, then fell off the wagon so to speak. But I'm back, I love all the helpful info. It's my socially acceptable crack. And I'm wearing a white thong. Yet another upside of a c section, hardly any pp bleeding!

Holy moly... That sounds somewhat like my story. Sorry you had to go through that.
I'm a lurker. I lurked the first & second tri boards until I discovered the BMB sometime in the second tri. I try to post as much as I can but sometimes I struggle to keep my eyes open like right now...
Interesting facts about me:
I HATE BIRDS. I have an intense fear of them. I don't even like typing out the letters. I don't even like drawing of them.
I breastfeed most of the time at the computer desk because the boppy fits right into our chair and I can browse the internet while I BF.
80% of my underwear are the same black bikini undies and all of my bras are the exact same brand, style, & color. I'm very vanilla.
Holy moly moly I'm late to reply! I've posted a couple of times when we were pregnant, but just barely. Anyway, little girl was born on 10/18 via csection at 5lbs 15oz which was a huge deal since she was an iugr baby. She has a head full of thick black hair and her eyes are dark blue, which I think are turning brown. Started back to work about 3 weeks ago and I'm so exhausted I can barely find my own feet. Oh, I'm wearing underwear? I vaguely remember that...I think they were grey lol.

I don't think Im a lurker, well, I guess I am over here, not on the fb group.
My underwear are black, they always are. I'm mysterious like that
