Anyone try gDiapers?

A friend sent me an article about gDiapers, they look pretty good. Really considering switching over after reading about them. Just want to know if anyone has first hand experience with them? How do you like 'em?

  • I haven't tried them but i saw them on target.com and you can read the reviews people wrote about them there.

  • They're ok, but if you're really interested in cloth diapering there are better, cheaper options out there. Check out the cloth diaper board if you want to delve deep into the different kinds available.
  • I have one friend who uses them exclusively and just adores them. The rest of my CD friends swear by Green Mountrain Workhorses and Bummis prefolds and then buy covers as they come on sale from Bummis, Thirsties, and the like. My stash has GD workhorses, BabyKicks, and flannel Clotheez prefolds, several generic prefolds my MIL has had for years that I washed, and a few different covers from Amazon that were on sale for $6-10.

  • I got gDiapers for our LO when she gets here. Several of my friends use and adore them. My DH wasn't into cloth diapering at all, until he found out about the flushable liner option with the gDiaper. Finding a huge stash on Craigslist didn't hurt either. A few stripping session with the cloth inserts we got and we're ready to rock!

  • They are a pretty expensive option because they are sized diapers so you'll have to buy a whole stash in each size basically where as a lot of other options are one size.

We did try them on DD for awhile and they leaked horribly. From everyone I've talked to who has tried them, either they work really well and those people love them or they don't work at all and those people hate them.

  • I love my gdiapers!! I really love that there are 2 different options with them as well....the disposables arw grwat for when you are out and about so you dont habe to carry around dirty diapers, and cloth imserts for when you are home and can put them in a pail! I also like to use AIOs for when we are home as well. I think they are great diapers and well worth the money.

  • Yes my wife and I LOVE THEM. Both washable and disposable. If you had ever asked before there was no way we were washin diapers. Until we studied costs. Initial cost is a Lil bit but the savings are amazing and we double stuffed at night with the disposables as she got older. Never woke up. Kept her dry and quiet because they hold so well. Definitely worth it. Will be reusing when we adopt again.
