I thought they got easier?

I am dealing with it better and still sleeping ok...but DS is not getting easier...the last two days he is something else!  He's always been a good mapper, but he is refusing to take reasonable naps, only napping on me mostly and if he doesn't nap well he doesn't eat well...I'm kinda at a loss.  Just really hoping its the 12 week wonder week I've heard so much about and we will get our good sleeper back by Xmas.  Sigh.

Mine did that starting 3 weeks ago and has slowly started napping again and has slept through thenight for the past 2 weeks. I think he was gearing up for his growth spurt we had last week. He wouldn't sleep, ate a ton and then cut his eating in half and started sleeping way more. Hopefully it will get better for you soon!

Rolling with it is the only way to go IMO. All sorts of crap that could mess with their sleep is still ahead. 4 month wakeful, teething, more growth spurts, etc. I am just trying to take it as it comes but it is hard!

Tell me about it. DS1 is 19 months old, and he is still going through phases and developmental stages that disrupt his sleep routine. We're going through the height of separation anxiety right now, and it looks like once that's over, he'll be starting to get his two year molars. As Starry said, I think you just have to roll with it.
