Okay, DH and I have decided we would like this little one to have the initials JD after his father who is very ill and will likely pass away before he/she is born. He is an amazing person we would like to honor regardless of LO's sex. DH has given me a lot of leeway with the name as long as we get the initials. Joshua and David are off the table due to family connections. Older sis is Isla Rose.
We are Team Green so trying to come up with 2 options for each sex. D middle names are hard! Here's what we have so far- any suggestions are welcome. Thanks for all the help with Josephine yesterday!
Boy:
Jonah Dean
Jonas Dean
Judah Deacon (?) - I really like Judah but it doesn't work with many D middle names.
Girl:
Josephine Dell - although this is my favorite D mn, I'm reluctant to use it because I'm still set on using Adele if we have another DD down the road- it was my favorite girl name but I won't get to use it this time around.
Josephine Della
Jocelyn Dulcie

I like Jonah and Judah. Or maybe just Jude? I like the suggestion of Donovan as a mn, but Dean is nice too. If you can't use David, what about Davis?
Josephine Della sounds old-fashioned and lovely. I think Isla and Josephine are a good sibset too. I also think pp's suggestion of Juliet Daphne is gorgeous. If you're concerned about the Dell/Adele thing, what about Josephine Delia? Not quite the same.
Here are my favorites:
Boys
J: Jason, Jeremy, James
My pick: Jason Daniel
Girls
J: Jillian, Julia, Jocelyn
My pick: Jillian Dana
Boy
Jonah Dean - Love it!
Jonas Dean - Love it, but it does remind me of the Jonas Brothers.
Judah Deacon - Judah is a great name, but not paired with Deacon.
Suggestions: Jerome, Jordan, Dallas
Girl
Josephine Dell - Love it, but prefer Josephine Della.
Josephine Della - See above...
Jocelyn Dulcie - Like it.

*Taking a break*
My husband is determined to have the name Dean in our child's name. I'm campaigning for it to be a middle name. He loves the show supernatural and his fave character is Dean. Well, IRL, Dean is actually named Jensen. I kinda really like Jensen. So I'm trying to sell hubs on Jensen Dean!
But there's a JD name to consider.
