Ok, I know it's the thought that counts and I may get flamed for making fun of a gift given to my boys but they just received Starbucks gift cards from DH's brother. Who gives a Starbucks giftcard to an 18 month old?
Does that mean I should start teaching him to say Venti Triple Shot Caramel Latte?
Re: Random gift given to my boys...
LOL! Hilarious.
Weird for them, but fun for you I guess.
That said my SIL has a standing date with her 3 yeard old at Starbucks every week. They read and do puzzles over "coffee." She gets whatever and he gets a vanilla flavored plain steamed milk as a treat. I think it's kinda cute.
haha, I agree it's cute for an older toddler. Aidan likes to order a hot chocolate and cookie there. I just find it so strange for Dylan. But he's never put a thought into anything. He's totally into himself. Only calls on DH's birthday and Christmas. He's a real tool. The list goes on.

I've taken DS to Starbucks once. He got a kids sized hot chocolate and a banana bread and LOVED it. We sat in the comfy chairs and drank our drinks. He seemed to enjoy himself. I wouldn't take him to get it regularly, but it might be kind of a fun outing
