FF- wwyd

K is currently on Enfamil Newborn. I am out of coupon checks, so I am switching to Target brand enfamil, which is equivalent to Enfamil Infant.

I have two sample cans of Enfamil Infant. Should I use these before going to Target Infant? Or would that be too much switching around in a relatively short period of time?

Re: FF- wwyd

  • IMO, yes. I was advised to 1 "switch" a week, if at all.

  • That's what I was thinking. No money loss, they were just two small sample cans. I'd rather be on the safe side. Thanks.

  • Just something to look out for, when we switched DS from emfamil newborn to the infant kind it didn't agree with him and it took me way longer than it should have to figure it out because I thought it was the 12 week wonder week.  So if your babe gets cranky it might be the formula, I also assumed the infant and newborn would be almost the same but I guess they aren't.  My pedi said there's no need to switch, so he's stickin' with the newborn.  Hopefully this won't happen with your LO, but just in case!
