Recently I was at my parents and they were watching the History Channel which had on a show about the Apocolypse and then followed by Zombies that follow the Apocolypse. I am one of those people who watch stuff and some things freak me out and others don't. Well, I didn't think this freaked me out until last night. It was about 3 mins after midnight 12/21 ("end of the world") and DH got up and left the bedroom. He always is super quiet and closes the door and comes right back after using the restroom. Last night he woke up and fell out of the bed, opened the door and left it wide open and didnt come back. I of course freaked myself out and waited about 15 minutes after he had been gone 10 mins before I went to go find where he was.
I went to look for him and found him sprawled out on the couch and so I shook him asking why he wasn't in bed. He didnt answer, I shook him again and again, finally he woke up and starred at me. I asked him to come back to bed and he didn't answer...
I used the restroom, came out and there he was starring at me, not moving a muscle. I grabbed him and told him to come to bed and kind of got out of his way, half running to bed. DH followed me but looked "zombie-ish". I crawled into bed and he wondered aroung the room leaving the door wide open again and wasn't talking finally he found the bed and fell on top of it. I just sat there starring at him waiting to see what he was gonna do next... he started snoring up a storm. Of all the nights to sleep walk, why did it have to be last night and why did I have to watch the stupid show!
Seems super funny now but at that moment I was seriously losing it!

That's really funny! My imagination can sometimes get the best of me and I could see myself getting freaked out too. Does he remember any of this?

Eeeks! That would have been sooo creepy! Glad it was a completely non-scary reason in the end!
I totally freaked myself out last night too. (Without watching zombie movies, either :S) I heard a thumping type sound just as I was trying to sleep, and thought it was coming from outside. I lay in bed for a couple of minutes trying to figure out what made the noise, and finally decided to check on my girls, just to ease my mind. Well, that didn't work out as good as it should have, lol.
They were fine, but while I was in their room, I managed to convince myself that: a) the noise I heard was a person in the backyard (it wasn't) b) that someone was breaking into the neighbours' garage (it was the neighbour, going somewhere really late) c) there was a person hiding under the girls beds/their closet/somewhere upstairs (nothing but shadows).
I felt like such a head case when I finally realized all the strange noises I thought I was hearing was just the girls moving around/kicking the wall in their sleep. They are really restless sleepers, lol!
OMG I would have lost it if that had happened as well. The house is pretty quiet at night so if I would have heard that, I think I would have "died".
Yeah, it took a long time to fall asleep after that! It didn't help that hubby has been working extra long shifts lately and wasn't home. I always feel braver when he's home, lol. He's so good at talking me out of my made-up nonsense haha.
