NBR re-gifting

I am re-gifting a lot of stuff this year (yes, I'm serious! Lol), and I'm feeling kind of bad about it.  I'm wondering its more common than I think. Anyone else re-gifting something this year? If so what?

We do a lot of kid stuff that way.  We seem to have gotten a lot of items for ds 2 that we already owned for ds 1 and re gave them to other newborns we know.  And dd had a huge party this year where everyone we invited came (think 40 kids) and she got so many gifts that we kept a few of her favs, kept a couple to re gift to other future parties,  and the rest we donated to toys for tots.  ANd DD got a really good lesson in kindness.

I'm all about regifting, especially if it's something I cannot use and I know someone who would just love it.  We have gotten so many bibs, receiving blankets, onesies, hats, and toys for our LO that he has either outgrown already or has way too many of.  I plan to use a lot of these items as XMAS gifts and shower gifts next year. 

I'd also like to note that we end up donating or regifting a lot because we have a small place.  We have a rule that if something new comes in, something old has to go out.  It really helps us to reduce clutter!

I don't necessarily regift, but I've often given unopened, unused things that I originally bought for myself. Example, nice perfume or lotion that I never got around to using.

Gift cards are number 1 on my re-gift list.

If I typically don't buy for that person but would like to give them a little something then I re-gift candles or maybe a gift card.  I don't feel bad about it if I don't have a use for it but know someone else would.
