Can anyone recommend an inexpensive but reliable one? We currently have the Video, sound and movement angelcare and over the past week or so I'm starting to have some issues with it. I've been very happy with it so far but last week I was woken up to it beeping with a false alarm. And this morning I'm guessing my "mommy instincts" woke me up because I could just barely hear DD crying from my bedroom and the video on the parent unit was frozen and no sound was coming through...I feel awful because I have no idea how long she was crying for.
Anyway, I know maybe I'm being a little paranoid but I'm considering getting a cheap audio monitor to have as a back up. I've been reading some reviews and so far the Sony Baby Call seems like a decent one. Any other recommendations? TIA
Re: Audio Monitor
We also have this monitor - no complaints here either.
Ditto.

This is the one we have at the grandparents and it works great! The voice activated feature is nice and has worked flawlessly in my opinion.
