ideas on side dish for Christmas menu

my mom and her bf are hosting they are having ham, turkey, cheesy potatoes, deviled eggs, pickles/olives, pineapple/cheese/marshmallow salad and for dessert the tradition of rice and strawberries.

I feel like we should have 2 veggie side dishes and one more cold side dish. any suggestions? I am not that much of a cook but was thinking of doing like the green bean casserole but with broccoli. but also looking for new fun but easy ideas

    So I get that corn really isn't a "veggie" but I LOVE Paula Deen's corn casserole.  Its super easy and inexpensive to make and it tastes like heaven.  Yay for starchy veggies.  :)

    I love my green bean casserole. I've never had it with broccoli though. Mine is really cheesy too.

    Pepper glazed carrots are awesome and easy to make!
