Quick poll

It was pajama day at daycare.

I have to run an errand with DS.

Do I dress him or suffer judgment for having a kid in public in pjs?

  • You don't know those people.  **'em.  Pjs.

  • I see adults in their pj's almost every time I go to the store.

  • I have to agree with Spooko.  Sometimes, when my kid gets up and bathed for the day, I just think he will be most comfy in PJ's.  When he gets older (like 4 or 5), then I'll probably require him to wear actual clothes.  Maybe.  I don't think there's anything to judge here.
  • Pajama day means pajamas all day!

  • Pajamas. I don't see a problem. When DS is old enough to chose, ill let him wear a cap and tights out in public if he wants. Kids are super cute in PJs anyway, it'll make people happy. If they judge, it's been far too long since they've been laid. Stuffy people.

PJs are just fine. Of all the things people judge, this is probably the most ludicrous.

Yep. Did this yesterday.  I felt no judging stares. DD was happy.

No judging stares for us! I left him in pjs. I know some people on the bump judge it, but oh well.

Here he is with "Ryan" the snowman. He named the snowman after DH, but since DH doesn't like Sbarro, I think I'm okay.

  • Well...considering my kid is living in footy sleepers constantly this week, so he's been going out in public the last couple days in PJs, I say pish-posh to the judgers.  My DS had to get stitches in his toe (my poor baby) on Monday and it's the only way I can keep him from messing with his foot.

I dont see the harm with public PJs on kids... there are far worse things in life.

  • Now that it's chilly, I would much rather take DS out in his footie PJs than deal with socks, which he will take off. Cuz he wants his toes to freeze. Dummie.

-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
  • Just clip a note to him saying something about "pj day at daycare" or constantly talk about daycare, "how was pj day today?" "That was fun wearing pjs all day wasn't it? Especially since momma always makes you get dressed properly except for special days like pj day today!"

    I'm totally being obnoxious here....
Go to the store. Eff the judgers. ;]
