Re: What is your Chicken Salad Recipe?

  • I just combine chopped or shredded cooked chicken, mayonnaise, chopped celery, and chopped apple (any red apple).  Sometimes I'll put it between two pieces of wheat bread, but  I prefer to have it in a pita pocket.

  • Mayo, onion, apple, cucumber, celery, tarragon, tiny bit of mustard and lemon juice. Sometimes I add chopped blanched almonds too.

  • real chicken ( I actually boil it, then cube it once its been chilled), mayo, celery, red grapes (halved or quartered), almond slivers, a tad of shredded cheddar, 1 tsp of lemon juice, s &p to taste, onion.

    Its the bomb on croissants.

  • This one is aaaamazing, but it's a curried one, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for:

DH is in love with this, and we have it in croissants as a special treat.

I second the croissants. I forgot about the grapes option. Also delicious.

  • I love this teriyaki chicken salad from our best bites https://www.ourbestbites.com/2011/05/teriyaki-chicken-salad-sandwiches/

Or, I chop celery, green onion, grapes or apple, mayo and chicken

  • I usually use the leftover rotisserie chicken and chop it up really good. I use mayo, either celery or some chopped walnuts for a crunch, and some sliced grapes for a bit of sweetness. I add in some Mrs. Dash and call it good.

I am a chicken salad minimalist!
