IUI question!

I didn't trigger. I called my RE when I had a positive OPK and went in the next day.

OK, so when would be ideal to ovulate when you have an IUI?

I did my first IUI yesterday and then we were told to BD last night.

That depends, what size was your follie(s) during your monitoring appointment? An OPK does not mean you ovulated, only that you geared up. It is possible to get a positive OPK and not ovulate at all. If you did O, it is usually 12-36 hours after the first positive OPK.

That's the thing. There wasn't a monitoring appt.  Believe me he's done a lot of u/s on me, but the only reason he wanted me to try clomid was to have more eggs to give DH's sperm a chance. 

I go back Jan 7th, unless I have a BFP prior, and I'm going to ask him more about the clomid. This was my first cycle with it.
