Finally rolling!

I didn't think DS was ever going to roll from belly to back, but he did it for DH yesterday morning finally! He still fusses on his belly, so I'm not sure if he hasn't realized he can flip himself over any time he wants, or if he's mad that he's not crawling yet. Either way, I feel a huge sense of relief that we have made it to this milestone at last!

Yay for your LO rolling!!!

We are still waiting for DD to roll over more consistantly or frequently when she is on her tummy. I am not sure she knows she can do it. When she does do roll, it seems like an accident and she seems surprised. I would love for her to just roll over more consistantly during tummy time so she wouldn't have to hate it so much and realize she can move on her own. DH and I think we scared her into not rolling by being too excited when she did roll over early on.

That's awesome! My baby sounds similar to yours...he's a very non-enthusiastic roller, but really wants to crawl. I've only ever seen him roll belly to back twice, and they were both during the same floor time session, and that was over a month ago. He's now getting very close to back to belly, but neither us nor day care has seen him complete it entirely on his own yet.
