Pisss off. I have things to do. DS not being well all month and making a shitton of visits to the hospital put me way behind in getting the house and presents ready for Christmas. You are an unwelcome visitor. Pack up, out you go.
And dd3, soup fights are strictly forbidden, under pain of death. Stop putting me behind in house cleaning or Santa is skipping our place.
What piece am I missing? You've been having a very hard time staying regulated the last few weeks. Nothing big has changed. I know the holidays bring about different situations and food but still even your teachers are noticing more of your "old behaviors from last year". Is someone slipping you Red 40? Is it the weather? Do we need to up your sensory activities? What's up and how do I help?
Love,
Your Mama who's used to running full blast forward with you. This little step back is throwing me through a loop.
One more day. You can handle this stuff for one more day, and then DH is off, preschool is done for awhile, and work stuff will be mostly settled until you sit down to start writing.
You pissed all over momma's optimism and hope today and she's not sure she can get it back. Please try to do something other than cry when momma puts you on your playmat. Maybe try to reach for one of those toys??
I have a hearty F You just for you. But congrats though because your answer just won the school district a request for an IEE. I 100% will not accept your assessment report as currently written. I've been plenty nice and have given you plenty of solutions. I am really not sure why you are digging your heels in on this issue. This is a hill for me to die on but really isn't one for you. I also cannot find any single person who sees DS2 on a regular basis to agree with your assessment. You have seriously misjudged me if you thought I would simply go away or cave. Merry Christmas!
Re: Open Letter Thursday!
Get out of my house before you infect anyone else!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a feeling that you are going to help us more than we hoped.
Signed,
That young mom
Dear Secondary MHT,
Can we do PCAT with you from now on? You give much better feedback and are more encouraging than the main MHT.
Sincerely,
Owl's Mom
Dear EI coordinator,
A reply to my message would be appreciated, I don't want my DD to miss out on services she is entitled to.
Thankyouverymuch,
The lady that is about to leave a message every day

Dear self --
One more day. You can handle this stuff for one more day, and then DH is off, preschool is done for awhile, and work stuff will be mostly settled until you sit down to start writing.
Take a deep breath, you're almost there!
