That's weird, I posted the picture of the Mistletoes, and it doesn't show? Lopes, still do something, it's fun!
LisaJay, I've got Modge Podge, thanks for the tip. I had C use tempera paints on canvas for the backdrop of his handprint turkey picture, and I set it with Modge Podge. However, the tempera paint smeared with the 'Podge, but the acrylic paint that I used for the handprint turkey itself didn't smear...I wonder if I have crappy tempera paint. It's pretty old.
Here's a picture of C's handprint mess. He doesn't like to keep his fingers straight. I dried out some leaves that we found around our yard and 'Podged them on as well :-)
I'm making her Christmas dress so I decided not to stress myself out with other crafts. I used to take E to see like 4 different Santas but this year we just did breakfast with Santa. I am way slacking.
This is the dress I'm making. The top will be a red print with bright green and white christmas trees. The bottom is a green chiffon, a white tulle and then on top a sheer red netting with big sparkly red polka dots.
My mom bought us a hand print ornament kit this year; we tried to do it this morning. I prepped the plaster, waited the time limit and was set to have a beautiful hand print ornament. While the mixture was setting, A got really tired, had a meltdown complete with snot rockets. So naturally I went ahead and tried to get the print......waaah, waaaah, waaaaaaah.
I think I might try one of the pinterest recipes for hand print ornaments as ours looks like total sh!!t.

LOL! This sounds like something that I would do :-) I'm sorry that the day went south.
Lopes, that dress looks precious, I can't wait to see the finished product.

We just did the gingerbread house. I was going to make a paper chain with him, but time got away from me.
Most of his "look what I made" crafts come from daycare anyway. I know we're getting the dreidel he painted at some point.
Adorable! I love how it's on black paper. How did you get her not to squish up her hands or toes?
That's really cute and you did a great job!
We just did this one tonight. The footprints look good but it is hard to write with paint.
