Beta Help

So I had my 3rd beta today and RE called and said she was a little concerned but not overly concerned and wants me to go back on Friday for another check and is hoping my levels make a big leap. Here are my numbers...Beta(1) 58, Beta (2) 153, Beta (3) 274... Hoping for some words of wisdom and/or reassurance. I truly feel my body is taking its time and then is going to take off. I have symptoms...I am ready for bed like now, and get waves of nausea.

How far apart were they drawn?  As long as they are 2-3 days apart you should be fine.  The third is so close to doubling, but I can see why she might be concerned.  When do you get your first u/s?

The first jump was from fri to mon. And the second was between mon and today. RE wants to do an u/s on Monday.

I'm just going to do what I do best, which is analyze the data for you, and we can go from there.  I put the numbers into a beta doubling calculator for you and it shows a doubling time of 51.5 hours from #1 to #2 and 57.1 hours from #2 to #3 (assuming they were drawn about the same time).

So, while the doubling time is a little slower this time, it's not crazy slower, IMO.  I hate to say it, sister, but just like me, the real answer is that all the guessing in the world won't answer this question.  The only real option is to wait.  

Luckily we'll both start getting some more detailed (and hopefully positive) answers on Friday!

I've also read that initial betas (maybe under 1000?) should double every 48-72 hours, so I think you're good!!

So what's going on with you?? How are you feeling? Also forgot to mention that my RE said my progesterone looks great .

My second beta was just shy of doubled at 48 hours, I think it's around 50-51 hours doubling time, so similar situation as you.  I haven't had any additional betas, just waiting to go in for my first u/s tomorrow morning, which will be 5 weeks, so just hoping for a sac at this point.  I was having fatigue and some nausea for a while, then it went away on Tuesday, which freaked me out.  I have some more energy now, but still have some mild nausea, so just assuming everything is still good.

The spotting has gone away for the most part, which is also comforting.  Now it's more like some EWCM-looking stuff here and there with a brown tinge, but definitely nothing red and nothing thin and heavy like before.  I'll report back tomorrow once I know more.  Thanks for asking!

Something similar happened with my symptoms...felt fatigue and nausea then yesterday was freakish myself out because i wasn't sure if I was really feeling it or if it was even there, but def felt waves of nausea. So I am thinking all is good in the beta hood.

My nausea and fatigue came back today, which I am thankful for, at least right now.  I should be out of the RE's office by 10 CST tomorrow, then need to run a couple of errands before getting to a computer, so I'll try to post by noon.
