RE appt - clomid next cycle

I had my first RE appt since removing calcified retained placenta back in September. We were hoping that we would have gotten pregnant naturally by now, but I'm glad to move forward with a plan. 

I'm getting my progesterone and TSH checked on Friday (6dpo). Months ago pre-surgery my progesterone level was 9.5, If we end up with a bfn this month we will start 50mg of clomid in January. I guess I fall into the unexplained IF - I'm ovulating, DH's sa was normal, etc. Anyone have quick success with clomid who was in a similar situation?  


Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
 3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Not many quick successes here. Maybe ask on success after if.

    I got my BFP after three rounds of clomid after three years of infertility. I think what made this round successful was the progesterone suppositories since they found a luteal phase defect. Good luck to you!

    I got pregnant with triplets my 3rd IUI cycle on 100mg Clomid. I had done 3 unmedicated cycles before that.

    I also had an ultrasound and trigger shot to be sure of timing (even though I ovulate on my own and was getting + OPKs)

    Good luck...make sure they monitor you with ultrasounds so you know you are not producing too many follies.
