DD is 19 months old and loves/needs her sleep so this is her schedule. I keep a set bedtime and naptime but let her wake up when she is ready. Wakes: between 7-8 am Nap: 12:30 (usually about 2 hours, sometimes 1.5 hours and sometimes 3 hr!) Bedtime: between 7:00/7:30 pm (STTN).
So to answer your question, she is awake for about 10 hours a day.
It varies. In the morning, he can go 3-6 hours before nap. Depending on when he wakes up in the afternoon, he goes 4-7 hours before bedtime. He usually does pretty well with that. He sleeps 10-12 hours at night and generally naps for 2-3.
That's been about the norm since we switched to one nap around 13 months...maybe a little earlier than that.

My 14 month old is awake for 11ish hours a day.
