I am leaving the post but I posted in the wrong place. Sorry.
Short version first. I would like to go the US to have the Maternity21 test. I can get cheap airfare to Chicago, Boston, New York, Buffalo or Burlington, Vermont but I would go anywhere necessary. Does anyone know of a place that offers the Maternity21 test to people not living in or receiving care in the US?
Reasoning - Since I am 35 I knew I would be a higher risk of issues and I just got my IPS results. I was told my chance of this baby having Down syndrome is 1/140 so the screen was positive. They are scheduling an amnio for as soon as they can but I'm not sure I want to do it. I really want to find out but I don't like the risk associated with amnio. (although it's small) My husband would rather wait things out but I want to prepare myself and learn more about everything if the baby does have Down Syndrome.
