Hardly ever. Pretty much when I need to something with food that involves molding. Yesterday I took them off to roll cookie dough into balls. Or i take them off to make hamburger patties. Things like that.
I take them off as soon as I get home at night and put them back on in the morning before work.

Ha, ha, I did that too when it was new. Now I just wear it 24/7. Actually, if I took it off I probably would not be able to get it back on. I was about 30lbs lighter when I got married and somehow that meant I had less swelling in my fingers. My left hand ring finger looks deformed without my wedding ring/band on.

All of this! But every so often, my hand feels "claustrophobic" so I take them off just to give my finger a breather.
I take them off every night before I give the boys a bath.
I don't want lotion to get on them; it's messy. So then I leave them off until after I take my shower and put on lotion. I also take them off when cooking messy things.

If I took them off often, I am sure that I would have lost them by now.
