2 Year Old Birthday Party- Time Question

Hi!  I'm trying to plan my LO 2nd birthday party and can't decided between 11am-1pm or 2:30-4:30pm.

She usually naps between 1:30-3pm, but I would obviously have to modify her nap on the day of her party.  Most of her little friends are around her age too and still take naps.

If at all possible, I just wanted to have some snacks and cupcakes- didn't want to provide lunch.

 So, what are your thoughts on the timing of the party???

If u don't want to provide lunch then I would do it 230430. I would really think we were having lunch if I went to a birthday party from 111. If u didn't mind serving lunch I would do the 11 o'clock time BC as a guest I would appreciate it lol

I'd pick 2:30-4:30.

If you're doing snacks, I woudl go for 2:30-4:30 since it's not during lunch time, and the kids should already be fed by then. also because her nap schedule wouldn't have to be altered too much it seems either.

I would do 2:30 to 4:30, because 11-1 is a day killer for most.  Better for you, better for the guests!

We're having A's 2nd birthday at 3. He usually naps for a couple hours anywhere from 11:30 - 2:30 depending on when he wakes up in the morning, so any earlier and we'd risk a cranky birthday boy.

I had this exact problem, so I decided to do a 2pm party so that I could put them down at least for a small nap around noon (if they'll sleep). I liked my chances of that better than meltdowns so close to nap time with an earlier party.
