The boys have been on rice cereal for over a week now so I figured I'd start them on sweet potatoes. So I made my first batch of homemade baby food and surprisingly it was so easy!! I only used 3 sweet potatoes and it filled 40 cubes in ice cube trays. Each ice cube is one serving and the potatoes were only $2.89! woo hoo!
I hope the boys like them tomorrow morning!
Re: Made my 1st batch of homemade baby food!
congrats!
my babies are not hear yet but I make my own applesauce, sauces, and grew up canning so I am looking forward to making their food also! good job!
Baby #3 due September 12, 2014!
Awesome! I'm planning on making my own baby food too. So much cheaper and healthier!
That is so awesome! How do you store it in the fridge? Saran wrap? How long will 40 servings last? I totally want to do this but need help!!!
TIA!
