Napping in motion

Is the only way we can get M to go down to sleep. We seriously propped a hat on her, put her in her carrier/snap and go, and fake pretended to walk her. It worked, but it's NOT something I want to do daily, we threw in the towel yesterday. She also sleeps in her swing, but fights it to the last second.

The signs ; yawning, eye rubbing,redder face ; are all there but she fights it and gets overtired. She screams if we take her into the bedroom it's like she knows sleep happens there.

Nighttime is no problem.

Any tips on setting a nap routine? Sigh.

We are similar to Meganole. After DD is up for about an hour she starts to get fussy and cranky. At that point we change her diaper again, swaddle and put her in the swing with the paci and white noise machine. We usually have to make one or two trips back to put the paci back in her mouth but once she falls asleep she is down for about 2 hours.
