Even though we still like our boy names, alternatives keep popping up.  Saw this one in the credits of the new James Bond film.

Thoughts on Callum (nn Cal)?

    One of my favorites, high on our list if #3 is a boy.

    Not loving the NN Cal, though, and I'm not sure if it's avoidable.

    This is one of my favorite boys names. It's #3 on our list if we have a boy. The meaning is great. I like the sound. It's uncommon in the US (though it's become very popular and common in the UK/Ireland/Canada-- some British people I've spoke to feel that it's trendy over there and not gonna age too well, but if you never run into many British people this shouldn't really matter). Awesome name.

    This was high on our list of boy names!  (Gender was a surprise).  Ended up deciding against it though because I loved the nn Cal and DH refused to use it.  I think it is a great, strong name with an adorable nn!!
