I do my same makeup, my same hair the same pinned up way everyday...I'm getting really tired of it. I think I need a makeover. Nothing drastic, just a new cut, maybe a flirty, chunky highlighted color, manicure....stuff like that. Stupid thing is that I can get all that done for free since my mom is a beautician! The only thing she doesn't do is makeup, but I might just go to macy's or someplace like that and have them do my makeup a new way...I just need something different. I feel frumpy. I don't want to have my son grow up and have his friends be like "How could that come from THAT!?" I don't want to be THAT mom.....UGH!!!

I'm in the same boat. I'm scheduled at the spa on Thursday for the full treatment, then to Macy's for makeup and wardrobe help.

What is stopping you? Go do it! You deserve it! 

Getting my hair cut and getting a few new shirts really improved my overall mood! When you look good, you feel good (usually)!

I feel like this too! I need a manicure and a haircut and I'm not even that kind of girl usually! But I'm frumpy!!

My SO just started a new (better paying) job.  This will allow me to get a new wardrobe!  Yet, all I can think of is what my DD needs/wants.  

But like a PP said...maybe a couple of tops will help me feel better about myself.
